INPS, a global technology and services company specialising in the healthcare field, shares our belief that collaboration across the business leads to customer success. We are doing some really exciting work with INPS to empower and inspire their staff to live the INPS values.
The value of Collaborative Working was the focus of the first of the values workshops introduced in May 2016. Colleagues from different departments and functions across INPS attended these sessions and in many cases were meeting each other for the first time. In the workshops, participants were asked to explore what working collaboratively means at INPS. Sessions were highly interactive with varied exercises and activities. Workshop participants particularly enjoyed a task where they were asked to work in teams to produce a short video about being ‘customer obsessed’, the next value module in the series. These videos also provide a fun resource for INPS employees to further embed their values in the future.
Following the workshops, much has been done to ensure Collaborative Working is lived as a daily behaviour at INPS. This has included the implementation of a commitment wall, branded collateral roll-out across the business, and the utilisation of an online social platform where staff can post success stories and examples of how living the values is making a positive difference to them and the business.
INPS staff now have a greater appreciation of the power of listening, great communication and the importance of speaking the same language. They have met people from other areas of the business and got to know colleagues better resulting in some great new ideas and working groups. All of this has strengthened even further INPS’s pursuit of customer obsession.
